The Greater Vidalia® Chamber has the “sweetest” members! On April 13, 2021, the Chamber Board of Directors and staff met to kick off Operation: Thank You, an appreciation project that involved visiting all of our members who are locally operated, giving them a sweet treat, and getting feedback.
2021 Chairman, Steven McComas stated, “Reaching out to each of our members is important! Your Chamber is here to serve its members with the focus on helping grow their business through our efforts. Through our visits, we are very pleased to have the support of a super majority of the Chamber’s members in our rebranding efforts to the Greater Vidalia Chamber. Our members see the collective benefit of the globally recognized name of Vidalia when coupled with the Chamber’s strategic marketing efforts to attract area customers to our members’ businesses. We also learned from our members the difficult work force situation we find ourselves in the rapidly changing economy. We hear you and we working closely with our partners at the Development Authorities on a comprehensive work force study to develop strategies to address this with our friends at the University of Georgia. Together we are stronger and appreciate continued support.”
The Chamber is always seeking comments and feedback from our business members on what is important to them, what needs we can help meet and we appreciate each member who took the time to visit with us this past week. Just like our community, our businesses are “better together” as members of the Chamber.
