Georgia Chamber of Commerce President & CEO Chris Clark, CCE received the GACCE Legacy Award, the most prestigious prize awarded by the Georgia Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (GACCE). Clark received the award on Thursday, July 11 at the annual GACCE Executive Leadership Conference.
Debbie Evans, Executive Vice President of the Greater Vidalia® Chamber, attended the conference and stated, “Chris has demonstrated servant hearted leadership for all Georgia chambers of commerce, whether small or large. His dedication and commitment to the chamber profession and the economic well-being of local communities is exemplary. I can’t think of anyone more deserving of the Legacy Award.”
The mission of GACCE is engaging, educating, and empowering chamber professionals. The Executive Leadership Conference focuses on topics such as trends in workforce development, entrepreneurial initiatives, public policy strategies, essential ingredients of a strong chamber, etc. According to Evans, “The benchmarking and networking opportunities are invaluable in growing and sustaining a successful chamber operation.”
