The groundbreaking ceremony for the Greater Vidalia Center for Rural Entrepreneurship was held Monday, April 17th with a public address and remarks from the Ronnie A. Dixon Park and the shovel ceremony directly following on site of the new facility. The “Center” will be located at 204 East First Street in Vidalia.
In various remarks the timeline for the project was outlined, various leaders recognized instrumental individuals in getting the project underway and the vision for building business through entrepreneurship was expressed. There have been committees working on this for over 4 years now and with the ground now officially broken, we can see the light at the end and can’t wait to see the building progress as we build!
