The Chamber kicked off the 2023 Signature Events schedule with the 2023 Legislative Luncheon held at Lyons First Baptist Church on January 5th. This event is held on the first Thursday in January, the week before the legislative sessions kick off in Atlanta and hosted by the Chamber’s Public Policy Council.
This year’s event highlighted the state legislative sessions, with State Senator Blake Tillery and State Representative Leesa Hagan.
This year’s event brought record breaking attendance with nearly 250 people at the luncheon. After the panelists highlighted their agendas, they took questions that had been submitted ahead of time from Chamber membership . The Legislative Luncheon gives business members of our community the chance to hear directly from their representation about how upcoming legislation could impact their business and what priorities each legislator has for their 2023 session.
